—>The biggest part of the surprise party is wishing YouTube kids a happy birthday, but in the most creative way possible. In the “ask me” works, but literally anywhere; on your blog or on a post from anywhere (that you know they’d be okay with a little shenanigans) works wonderfully.

->Also, saying happy birthday is awesome, but spicing it up would be more fun!!! Day Of Birth, One of Awakening, Oh Child of the 27th, and any other batshit way to say “happy birthday” would both be awesome and absolutely hilarious.

I read Oz’ intro post and when I saw how they were a sort of assistant to the prefect i had a vision 🔥🔥

They look so cute in your style Angel! The height difference between them is making me wheeze so bad, and Kyra can still tower oz even more with heels 😭. Also love how Kyra is just vibing while Oz is just used with her antics 🥺🫶

And the family wolf outs typically happen at their home in New Jersey, that particular comic happening when Vega was a kid before attending Nevermore.

Sora has seen Vega a few times before officially meeting each other but in different occasions. Mostly during Outreach Days or when Vega is wandering around solving her cases(before inevitably getting roped into them too)

I bet it would be nice to have a custom shirt design just for you since you do enjoy Blue Color with Dogday. Which i bet Spot would enjoy wearing it as his own casual shirt one for his normal form and for his Young Adult form. And also, It was nice you also have the Fish Filet Sandwich in your country the Philippines, and since we're both Catholics and in lent season which means No Meat on Fridays, at least having a Fish Sandwich and some Fries is always a good substitute if we're not allowed to eat meat on Fridays at McDonald's, Much like if we're going to have a Burrito and some nachos and cinnamon twists at Taco Bell, which it was another choice we could also have during lent season.

It's really nice to see a cartoon comic style for Toy Story, since my family and i love Toy Story, especially my mom, since she does enjoy the films, as well as for Woody's Voice actor, Tom Hanks. And with that cartoon style, it reminds me of when i was really little, i had a few Toy Story toys i get from like McDonald's when people were watching the sequel to Toy Story, Toy Story 2. And since that movie came out in 99 and the first one in 95, Pixar does make really good movies depending on which movie is really good. And yeah, i have played the Toy Story level in Kingdom Hearts 3, and i do like some of the moments in that level, even when i was in those Robots that look similar to being in the Anime, Gundam or Evangelion. Plus the scene with Woody who rescue Buzz from Darkness was a very nice moment when it comes to Kingdom Hearts and Toy Story.

I remember that style of fast food birthday parties before. Normally the last one only did one with McDonald's. But having a Party at Jollibee can be fun too. I bet that looks like a lot of fun for Jollibee to have a sweet birthday party for Atheena.

Caleb: Good idea, Riya! It wouldn't be a problem to do both. Especially if we get our brothers and their girlfriends to tag along with us to prepare these Item tasks. Otherwise, we can have our brothers to do the Diamond Casino Heist, and we can do the Cayo Perico Heist, or we can do the Diamond Casino Heist, and our brothers can do the Cayo Perico Heist. But we'll decide once we talk with our brothers.

10 Days FNAF Challenge

Oh my gosh, I’m so ashamed of this. I’m so ashamed of myself. How can I do this to my beloved animatronic! I rushed to paint out two challenge picture in a day but the result is this… I’m the worst…. ( ；A；)

I finished this picture in a day so doing the whole sketching, Lineart, paint up and Lineart again is kinda tiring. Especally when I’m drawing two things at once. 

I think I’m the most basic person out there. I like all security guards, but the reason why I like Mike Schmidt is because the personality and ability I gave him in my AU. I remember the time when I was rp with someone as Mike and Fritz to be in the other person AU, kinda like a tour to their world while my Mike and Fritz are acting silly. I believe that I made a Comic of their arguement as well! (^w^)~<3

I’ve already made Balloon boy having an ability of making his balloons into weapon but when I seen how detailed the balloon sculptures are in the internet, BB’s ability became more terrifying to me. My gosh, an innocent looking balloon have the same functionality as a shotgun can be good to mess with my mind. (>~<)”

I remember when my brother and their friends were playing fnaf 2 in my brother’s room and they drag me into playing it on their computer. I was excited for it because it’s honestly my first time playing the game since I don’t have a laptop/computer(even now, I got nothing. ( ；∀；)). But of course it’s hard to focus on the game when my brothers and his friends were panicking behind me, but when I got my first jumpscare(Foxy). They all literally screamed behind me, I got startled by them inside of the game. Abit annoyed at them afterwords too.

I genuinely have no clue how to draw a pixelated mini game on paper. So I try the alternative method of drawing the normal Withered Freddy and Marionette walking past the halls in my own way, which is paint it in watercolours. Been a while that I’ve drawn an actual animatronic freddy, so it will turn out pretty bad. ( ；∀；)

Heart racing, difficulty breathing, Giddiness have heighten, ideas have flown though my minds. Signs of me simping on my Character couples~! This is one of the most difficult one to draw because I love so many of my character couples, I know for a fact that I should draw my Chica and Toy Chica beside me because of their also hopelessly romantic to couples~! Especally their favourite ships~! I still wanna draw more couples~! So much more puppy loves~! I should draw more of my beloved couples~! ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡

I’ve always call myself an oldie since I’ve stocked with FNAF at the very first game, which is why my taste might be as old as well.

Kawacy is my favourite FNAF artist. Despite having realistic environment, the character still look like it came from an anime. His characters are handsome as well~!! He doesn’t draw FNAF anymore, but I still respect him as an artist besides there’s still the handsomest characters I ever fallen for \(Q7Q)/

I think it comes to no surprises that I love the very first game. It is the time we’re I was into watching Markiplier playing horror games and Five Nights at Freddy’s stuck with me because of the characters and the mystery behind the horrors. This also reminds me of my childhood day of going to Jollibee and have a birthday party in an retro style place, which is why I have some sort of attachment to places that looks like a diner and have a animal mascot because I was so happy back and I doubt the place is there now.

Although I was supposed to only draw the toy animatronic, it escalated quickly of me imagine how protective their older guardians to their younger successors as they’re trying to scare Jeremy. Jeremy is scared from something that is entirely different~! So I decided to pick both cos why not~! ��≧∇≦）

I already drawn out BB in the previous day so Marionette~!! I always admire Marionette since he’s a mysterious character, although my Marionette is kinda straightforward with his tasks. I’ll still ing to make my personal character database in my iPad.

The wifi is here... Uncle DD is acting strangely though the money is sent to him by my adoptive parent's... 2 babies here,me and Uncle DD....

But of course, I need to work... Though, Uncle DD sometimes doing a side lines of selling pies and handling some pizza's delivery...

I pity Crysette coz she needs a laptop for her college lectures, I can't lend her my laptop coz it is something personal for me.... Uncle DD is spoiled on my adoptive parent's... The tablet of Crystte is not compatible for her class on-line apps...

I have fear if she damage my laptop Uncle DD is not really helping me here... I'm just pooping in their bathroom coz our toilet bowl is still clogged.

If only if I have extra money, I pity Crysette....In spite of a child is still a child... Though, not my responsibility.... I pity her but I already told Uncle DD that Crystte needs a laptop for her class...

I feel super stress....Thinking of money and I need to start a job... I feel so frustrated but I hope it will be the start again...

For the people who are damaging me for 17 years, learn to let go and move on... For me moving on,it doesn't mean losing my dreams to achieve the vanity that I want or to lose the person that I wanna see again and that is my cousin-white on my Aunt Ten2x...

I'm so fucking excited to buy Starbucks everyday coming from my salary but doubting the "everyday".... I'm self-pitying for so long coz I wanna collect Starbucks Tumbler...

I need to pay Ely a cash, if I can but if not a sing as a buddy... In a lil while...

But I still wanna see my cousin-white on my Aunt Ten2x ... It is a thing that will haunt me forever if there was really an unfair "Entangle Thing"...

Weekly R.E.P.O.R.T. 11/17/23

Reading: Salvador by Joan Didion. I visited El Salvador once upon a time after reading extensively about the country's civil war. This was an interesting primary report written by Didion about her two weeks in the country. It captures the fear we so often see under oppressive regimes.

Eating: Polabok, Jollibee. Eating my culture has been a big deal this week. I ate fresh lumpia, lumpia shanghai, tocino, polabok, and ube rolls. It just felt comforting and delicious.

Playing: Building a fort in my office. I had a few old boxes, and I finally finished painting and arranging them. My cat and I can both enjoy the fort. I love it.

Obsession: My breadmaker. I made fresh bread for a party, and it was a hit. I even made my own butter to go along with it.

Recommendation: Kokoro by Christine Mari. I picked up this comic used and was surprised by how much it spoke to my experience. The author shares her experience as a mixed Asian person living in Japan. She discusses her mental health journey. It is personal and beautiful.

Treat: A bagel on a Friday. The biggest thing I miss about the East Coast is the bagels. I picked one up from a local bagel shop. It wasn't as good, but it did feel like a treat!

  A Unique Tradition Takes Root in Albay

In the quiet cemetery of Oas, Albay, where rows of white and gray tombs typically inspire somber reflection on All Saints' and All Souls' Days, a vibrant and unconventional tradition has taken root. For years, the Relleve family has been celebrating Undas, the Philippine holiday honoring the departed, in a distinctive way – through "grave branding."   Jafryl Refran: The Mastermind Behind Grave Branding At the heart of this remarkable tradition is Jafryl Refran, a local artist from Matacon, Polangui, Albay. Known for his skills in painting murals and logos for schools, Refran never imagined he would find himself using tombstones as canvases to immortalize the favorite brands of the deceased. His foray into grave branding was nothing short of accidental, as he explains: "I was very surprised when I was first offered this job. But as I got to know the family, I realized that they must really love their father so much that they remember all the memories they had with him."   A Colorful Legacy Since 2016, the Relleve family has commissioned Refran to transform their father Jose Relleve's tomb, who passed away in 2011, into a colorful homage. Each year, they choose a different brand to commemorate their father's memory. Notable brands like Black Label Johnnie Walker, Lacoste, Bvlgari, M&Ms, Wrigley's Doublemint, Alpine, and even the beloved Jollibee have graced the tomb over the years. However, this year's masterpiece is unlike any other – the Tancho brand, which left Refran feeling unfamiliar.  

The Tale of Tancho: A Comical Tribute

Angelle Relleve, the daughter of the late Jose Relleve, shared the inspiration behind this year's artwork. It's a comical tribute to her father's obsession with the Tancho pomade brand, as she explains: "In the 1980s up until the 1990s, my father, along with his colleagues at the Oas municipal hall, used to sport the 'buklis gobyerno' look – a distinctive hairstyle attributed to government employees at that time, characterized by a side part and a slight pomp." Refran faced a challenge with this particular brand, as the Tancho name wasn't widely recognized, not even by passersby at the cemetery. During the initial stages of painting, onlookers struggled to discern the brand he was depicting.  

A Unique Way to Remember

Undoubtedly, the tradition of grave branding raises eyebrows, but for the Relleve family, it's a way to ensure the legacy of their father lives on. As Angelle Relleve puts it, "We just want to honor our father by remembering him with laughter, not tears." Their non-conformist approach to commemorating the dead has a deep cultural connection.   A Tradition Rooted in Filipino Culture Renowned anthropologist Nestor Castro shed light on the tradition's significance: "The grave branding in Oas is unique because of its creativity, although at its core, it is still a manifestation of long-standing Filipino practices and values." He explained that in precolonial times, Filipinos buried their dead with the material objects owned by the departed, alluding to ancestor worship. In contemporary times, as culture evolves, so do the ways Filipinos express respect for the departed. The practice of grave branding is an opportunity to remember the deceased in a way that reflects their character and idiosyncrasies.  

The Evolution of a Unique Tradition

The tradition of grave branding in Albay, Philippines, has come a long way since its early days. What started as a quirky practice in Oas has now spread to other towns in Albay and has evolved in several ways. In the beginning, artists painted murals on flat tomb surfaces, but now they often paint on all sides of the tomb, creating a 3D effect. The early two-dimensional style has given way to more sophisticated techniques, with artists using perspective and shading to create depth. The scope of subjects has expanded as well, from traditional brands to hobbies, sports, and even celebrities. Today, grave branding is a tradition embraced by people from all walks of life. It is a unique and creative way to honor the departed, ensuring they are remembered with laughter and love.  

A Tradition That Lives On

Grave branding has become an integral part of Albay's culture. Moreover, it provides a distinctive and artistic method to honor the deceased, celebrating their lives in vibrant and memorable ways. Furthermore, the work of grave branding artists in Albay is continually evolving, thereby making this tradition a meaningful and enduring part of the community's cultural heritage.
